The entire mess started with Kathy. She was seriously depressed after her husband left her & let many written requests from the tax office go unanswered (an erroneous $500 tax on a non-existent business). This form of mental illness is no joke, and in real life I have seen where a close friend or relative would come into a home and insure the bills were paid to avert evictions, utilities shutoff etc.

this movie mad me mad but yet sad... that cop was so stuck up her ass that he got a boy killed which led to the people dieng and the lady which all through the movie said it was "her" house at the end she goes it aint my house so that fucking pissed me off

i get it. kathy was pretty screwed up. but how can anyone be angry at her for not keeping the house.

Does no one think that the fault is only the government's, who seized property without reason, then sold it for a price far below the market value (therefore at their own cost)?

It would have been corrected if they bought back the house for its actual cost, seeing as they were stupid enough to sell it for less. But because they were too greedy, they forced those involved to become irrational.

None of these people were to blame? How are we missing this key aspect?
