At First:
Napoleon was declared Emperor of the French (not of France, that's different, even if you don't understand the nuance) by the Senat.
He was at first declared empereor by the Senat, and next by the people (referendum).
He crowned himself emperor at the ceremony, that's different.

I just learned about this in global and we have to make a music video. Ur wrong 97% of the population wanted Louis gone. He was cluless and him and his wife spent to much money on themselves, have you seen some of her hairstyles. But they had every reason to kill louis they just weren't smart enough to think ahead (look up maximillion Robespierre) and they ended where they started with one absolute ruler( Louis xvi- napolean)

At this period, not all the French wanted to kill the king , just a little part (a lot have respect for him , see their hesitation, these regions were the people was shoked about the situation of the king's family) but the part who wanted it, shouted the most, so they did it... In fact, a lot of people wanted him as a constitutional king or wanted to bannish him,

Napoleon was declared emperor of france by...
HIMSELF! You forget Waterloo, it wasn't only a Russian battle, he escaped Elba and went back to France. He then mustered an army and started a campaign (100 years war) after several battles he was defeated by the duke of wellington, who was commanding the british and allied forces at the Battle of Waterloo. GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT

hey, m8, I dunno if your English but over here a baby was battered to death, thrown around his room and systematically abused. He finally choked on his own tooth when he was thrown so hard. These people were living off benefits. People over here were fucked off that the social services did not act, wouldn't you be? So providing they actually do stuff the social services are good.

While change was necessary, the force of evil violence used to bring it about, was unnecessary and WRONG! King Louis XVI HELPED the American Revolution, too much in fact. Marie Antoinette wanted to beautify France. They were harmless. The people screwed themselves over with poor planning to begin with, then blindly charged when times were tough blaming Royalty for all. People needed to raise their voices instead, they clearly would have been heard. They never formally addressed to Royal Court.
