Pile it On

America is NOT running out of corn. While the ethanol market is rising a great deal, the other corn markets like feed and food products have basically peaked or are only rising at a steady rate each year. The yield increases in each year's harvest are enough to meet the needs of all the markets.

@52887130 there is no reason to have more than a couple ethanol plants and they should be to see just how much they can utilize the corn, if all the corn grown in the u.s was used for ethanol it would sattisfy less than 10% of what Americans use for fuel, and we still need most of the corn we have for food, all the ethanol plants are doing now are raising havoc on your food markets. sure there is distillers after ethanol production but cattle cant live one distillers alone either

One year of a few crop shortages around the world and the chicken little's are ready to pull the plug on ethanol. Wish someone would show them these huge stores of corn. JJ
