I agree if Alice had been born male she could very well have been the second president Roosevelt. It seems to me Alice always felt traped by the fact of being female in a time with many limits on women. She was extremely bright and so much inside her wanted to get out is why she rebelled throughout her life.

@AliceFan1 Alice was a glamorous non conformist. She had Teddy's disposition, no question. Whether she had his intellect? Who knows? Alice was about style;

Eleanor about substance. Boring or not, it wass Eleanor who impacted people, and made the greater, lasting contribution.
