  • I just finished your book...through tears..l think you are an amazing man and although your parents were not physically with you..somehow through whatever spiritual way needed...they WERE with you to help you have the strength to survive those years with those horrific individuals..l can't even call them people....you are a true inspiration to all...thank you for shareing your story with the world...l somehow see it differently now. Good luck to you and your beautiful family.

  • Thank you for the opportunity to read an amazing book. I too spent my childhood trying to understand what my purpose in life was. For a time it was just to stay alive. I had a family but it was not a loving family and I left home at 16 to "rescue" myself. I too have come a very long way and finding my sense of self worth was one of my greatest achievements. I have raised my children to believe in themselves and to understand that children are the most precious gift one can ever receive.

  • Steve,

Thank you for attending the Citrix event last week. Your story is truly inspirational and I look forward to reading your book. I hope to you see you again in the future.

  • Just ordered the book and can't wait to read. My brother and sister both worked for Monster.

  • Brother Pemberton,

I'm glad that you decided to tell your story. I know it takes a lot of strength and it will greatly aid many people who struggle with "finding their place/home". I'm going to post on my page so more people can see it!
