Final judged run of our scale size high-walkin alligator crawler for ME112 Mechanical Systems at Stanford University. We performed spectacularly with no difficulty clearing the obstacles. Only mishap was incorrectly predicting our speed, due to my failure to write down timing results from test runs the night previous. Our actual speed was ~20 cm/s. About two thirds of the groups' gators had successful final runs. A few needed little pushes and prods to get over some obstacles, and a couple did not move more than a couple inches. Some frustration apparent. Many creative designs.
Next, FULL SIZE ALLIGATORS WITH REAL CHOMPING JAWS! ....orrr
