Dr. Ben Isitt stands for First Nations sacred sites and the environment. Urban sprawl hurts us all. Special thanks to Eric Pelkey Hereditary Chief of Sencoten alliance and Cheryl Bryce of the Songhess First Nation for standing up for Cultural, ancestral, and land issues for their people. All First Nations are invited to attend the campaign for just resolutions on their lands.

  • You guys are really lucky you dont meet the "wrong" guy in a buncher, because out east here we wont put up with this liberal tree hugger shit... yes conservation is good to a point... but protesting like this just makes it bad for both sides...

  • I take some comfort in knowing you are safely living on the East coast of America. This is Canada where we still have the right to protest the wanton disregard for sacred places and environmental annihilation.

  • omg you guys dont know shit

  • Dear mmlogging. Please post a reason why you make this statement as on it's own it says more about yourself than what the video or the responders put forth. lensylvania

  • Good call everybodysayyeah.

I love this vid. Awesome job Ben!

  • I can't believe we're still pursuing the archaic practice of urban sprawl. I'm an urban planning student and the idea of this continuing is outrageous. our only sustainable options for increased growth at this point is densification within our existing urban centers which supports close communities, reduces car use and increases neighbourhood vibrancy. the practice of expanding forever outward is completely unsustainable + suburban houses will crash in value as oil prices continue to skyrocket.
