We wanted to do a few tributes in recognition of Lucille Clifton, who recently passed.

Her poem "won't you come celebrate with me" has been a favorite for some time. The version here presents an image of Clifton first, and then we add some photographs of black women from the Farm Security Administration Collection. Our regular contributor, Al Henderson, helped us out by mixing in a cool instrumental as background to Clifton reading.
