I'm sure that nostradamus based his predictions of what was happening in the ongoin world, if he predicted that science was going to save this world waw because he was pissed of religion, he wrote this during the enlightenment when people were leaving religion and started to explore the unknown. if he predicted famine thats because he saw the human population increasing in the next hundred years. i don't believe anything he says, i think he just based his predictions on what he saw on humans.

@psycoloco111 actually, what you don't know is that Nostradamus did all his work in the time of the inquisition - a Spanish lead judicial body that tortured to death anybody that said anything non-religious or acknowledged the existence of anything outside of the bible - that's why everything was done in difficult to understand code, otherwise he would have just written down his predictions exactly as he saw them.

His fellow villagers protected him. The Black Plague was big in those days, lots of disease and suffering that he was able to prevent in them by seeing into the future and knowing what was the cure. He then told them to eat/consume lots of fruit/veg high in C and so on.

What I suggest you do is go and found out about him. Videos on Youtube: The Man Who Saw Tomorrow. In +-9 parts. Made about 25-30 years ago. In there is 9/11... clear as a bell.

Actually he only predicted what was a strong potential to happeng, however everything had (and still has) the possibility of being averted. In the book mentioned in the video, it talks about the British Prince going to middle east, his unsuccessful return, world leader executed at time of a previously unknown meteor. The book was written before them happening, and they all happened: Prince Harry, him being sent back, and Sadam (I forget the meteor's name).

world war III will start in November of this year...Well that's what he said, I don't believe it but I don't not believe it either, it's very complicating because nostradamus and all his prophecies could be just a lie, we won't know until his prophecies come true in the future, they only seem to show the prophecies he predicted after the events, so that implys the fact that they wrote them after it happened.
