I can understand this because I studied abroad to Japan in high school :)
It was 2009-2010 and my host-school had copies of these books but I couldn't read them.
I just got the big English translation for Christmas!!

@LemmiPuh "The setting of the novel 1Q84 is 1984 Tokyo. The two protagonists, Tengo and Aomame, find themselves lost in a world strangely different from reality." And then they read a bit from the book. This video really isn't that interesting even if you know Japanese lol.
