Most people here are not experts, everyone has their system, so I would like to know how to adjust a flame for heating, and how I can tell when a gas is running low.
@Waterman117 the idea is that you want a flow of oxy to blow out any acetylene in the torch and blow any spark outward, preventing flashback through the hose.
@lpngcf420 i am taking a welding course, and current thought is to shut off the fuel first and then the oxygen, just like you said. according to my instructors, what this guy said is old school.

do Acetylene tanks have oxygen already in them or do u have to combine the two?
