Guess all the "haters" can give me a history lesson on Tae Kyun and its role in Tang Soo Do and Tae Kwon Do? WOW!!!!
Every art has its merits and weaknesses, but most of them lie in the practitioner's unwillingness to accept new knowledge and incorporate it into their training.
Most revered Grand Master Hwang Kee ( Kee Hwang to be correct) said
"The number of techniques in Tang Soo Do are infinite ." If that doesn't mean to adapt, accept and incorporate what works I don't know what does.

Wow I love how some people are trying to run down Tang Soo Do / Soo Bahk Ki / Soo Bahk Do & Moo Duk Kwan.
People need to study the art(s) and history before they make uninformed remarks.
But what would I know? I have only studied this particular art for over 25 years and taught it for over 15.

In my personal opinion, I prefer the Shotokan Karate style of Bassai-Dai.
