The search for Australia's next generation 'Top Guns' ended with a bang at our exclusive VIP event! 75 of our 'Top Guns' and their wingmen enjoyed a once-in-a-lifetime experience with 3D projections of jets flying high above, and plenty of delicious canapés and drinks on the ground.

Guests were then treated to a special Air Force screening in the cinema room and insightful Q&A session with RAAF pilots hosted by seasoned RAAF pilot trainer Ray Simpson. To top off an unforgettable night, everyone received gift bags featuring a RAAF jacket and aviator sunglasses, while the three big winners were awarded the major prizes. Mission accomplished.

  • What the fuck, that looks fun as...

  • Epic Event!

  • ^^ microsoft flight sim, just with overkill.....

  • I want one of those jackets when I join the air force

  • @thegoldenduck456 well by 24 i mean 24 F18E/F super hornets equipped in last two years, these are the main strength of RAAF, and yes there are like 70 very old F18 equipped in early 1980's, they are due to retire in 2015 and currently in a not very good conditions after nearly 30 years of service. the new F35 from USA was planned to replace them, unfortunately they are experiencing technical difficulties and heavy rise of cost, so major delay is ongoing right now

  • @houston34 Where did you get that info, cos it's really badly wrong.

It is hard to get into, but I assure you we have more than 24 fighters.

  • australian air force only got like 24 fighters, really tough competition

  • Awesome event! If only i was in Australia at the time, let alone knew about it haha. Maybe they kept it low profile so they could accommodate the majority of people who put their hand up?

  • i wanna be an aco sooo abd... 3 more years :D

  • @KallenKozuki where was it? and how did u know about it? plz tell me.
