ford xr6 turbo vs 300zx TT #2

im in the red xr6t wasnt really racing off the line just took off like normal pushed half throttle and wheel spun as u could hear (had crappy nexen tyres on the back) lol but once i get traction i pass the 300zxTT pretty easily.

An XR6TURBO (BA-BF-FG) chops the aurion trd let alone anything in piss-weak NA range.. if you can even find one that is. trd doesnt even exist in this country anymore.. shows what the consumers really thought of it. As for your little super duper aurion, those things are WEAK. Theyre for old men who want to "upgrade" from their camrys. Giving an XR6TURBO to an aurion lover is like handing a Bazooka to a boy-scout...

@mateusz0003 Proven on a track or speculated in a magazine? of course it would be faster on a track they're AWD, weigh about 500kg less, built as a rally car so suspension setup would be better than a standard xr6t. it's really a non-comparison. a mini cooper with a 1300cc engine beat GTHO's and Monaro's around bathurst, simply because of the weight and driveline, only thing they wouldn't do is beat them on the straight due to lack of top end power. and the new wrx's look shithouse.

@parabpbpbp but you're comparing a TRD, or performance version to a non performance (for lack of a better word) falcon XR6T with those quarter mile times. Compare it to a FPV and you'll have a different result. As for power, it doesn't mean everything. Compare an VE SV6 and an FG XR6. 210kw vs 195kw, both of which can keep up with each other.

@apaial34 to be honest the aurion trd beats the BA and BF turbos in straight lines and corners... i do have fg turbo but just saying bro..they aint WEAK as u say. that v6 makes huge amounts of power... just not as easy as a inline 6. that aurion v6 comes out NA in a lexus is350 with direct injection and makes 233 KW while fords 4L turbo 6 made 245 at the time. trd ran 13.5 best. BF ran 13.8 best. FG ran 12.9 best. a non TRD aurion runs 14.5 all day..
