I love the tone you are getting. I own both a Hayseed 30 and a VAC 25 with the Thunderbolt upgrade. These amps are both tone machines. I jump the channels by running a jumper from the lo input on channel 1 to the hi input on channel 2. I can play either channel by itself or blend the EF86 and the 12ax7 channels together with the volume controls.
