@rodertjenkins To quote Plinkett, "I'm afraid you missed the point entirely." Plinkett is talking about what to show in a movie to make it worth watching (and not what would be frowned upon by the effing Jedi Council). Lucas could have DECIDED that Obi-Wan's anger would carry over into the fight (a perfectly reasonable decision since he's still an apprentice). But Lucas didn't do that - he gave us another apathetic fight scene - THAT is the point Plinkett is making.

Maybe George Lucas has simply gotten lazy due to all the money we've given him. Why should he have to work hard to make cool new things when we keep giving him more money to do this.(Even though in my opinion, Clone Wars and Revenge weren't that bad) I'm not saying it's our fault, but we could help. But we wont, because we're all going to see the 3D re-release.

you know people who actually know how to fight will use their skill even in anger, obi-wan trained most of his life and kept his skill, luke trained for a short time and lost his shit.

@rodertjenkins yeah but obi wan was angry anyway. You could see it in his face so he might aswell of shown. Its alot more entertaining than flawless choreography. That should of been how obi wan learnt from his mistakes to never use anger.... Like the high ground thing....

@rodertjenkins no. that is exactly what the quide says that obiwan is pissed. allso, even so. that shuld have happend. this is why the emperor is the best things in these films. he has some passions and emotions. while the jedi are boring and stupid.

The only argument against anything that was said in this review is when he questions why Obi Wan doesn't begin wailing on Darth Maul like Luke Skywalker did to Vader is because Jedi are not supposed to use anger. When Luke used his anger, it showed a flaw that was reoccurring with the Skywalkers.
