Democrats deceptively argue that health care is legal under the commerce clause of the Constitution. The commerce clause relates to business, not individuals, but the Democrats have skewed the original purpose and intent of the Constitution.

When asked to point out where in the Constitution authority is granted to force an individual — ultimately at gunpoint — to buy government health care, Speaker of the House Pelosi said: Are you serious?

It is said Obama was a constitutional professor at the University of Chicago Law School (even this is a lie — he was in fact a senior lecturer, not a professor), so we should assume he has at least some knowledge of the principles of the Constitution. Obama likely knows that the Constitution does not mandate Americans be forced into a contractual agreement with a private party for health insurance.

Apparently, like his predecessor, Obama regards the Constitution as little more than a goddamn piece of paper.

Nowhere in the Constitution is Congress given the power to mandate that an individual enter into a contract with a private party or purchase a good or service, explains the Heritage Foundation. No decision or present doctrine of the Supreme Court justifies such a claim of power.

Is it possible Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid have not read Article I of the Constitution? It states that the governments rights are limited. Article 1, Section 8 reads, The Congress shall have Power To regulate Commerce with foreign nations, and among the several states, and with the Indian Tribes. It does not say a word about health care. The federal government only has the power to regulate trade between itself, foreign governments, and the states. Period.

But then the government — including the Supreme Court — has chipped away at the Constitution for decades. Many of the most serious violations of the Constitution came under the reign of a supposed conservative Republican, George W. Bush.

The Democrat health care bill is merely the most recent and most egregious of those constitutional violations. Both parties essentially the same party excel at destroying our constitutional rights.

As recently as last week, there was hope this monstrosity in the Senate would die a natural death and hand a defeat to Obama and his big government statists in the House and Senate.

Now that senator Ben Nelson has sold his consent — for Medicaid money to Nebraska — it appears this bill will soon be a done deal.

In a few weeks, the federal government may be making your most important and private medical decisions. Get ready for health care on par with Cash for Clunkers.

Get ready to take the next step on the road toward government tyranny and slavery.

  • Lets start a revoloution

  • @dr71956 My impression is that he is an immature, publicity-seeking little man.

    Publicity seeking little man-

i will only bother myself responding once, since it seems you are an endless flooder of this channel.

you are a f***** moron, alex jones has been on the air for over a decade,

the publicity he gets, is that which he deserves, and he should get more, for he deserves more, he is not immature,

he i angry defending your freedom

    go screw yourself dr....

    thank you

  • @dr71956

Name how my comment was shallow, you can't.

And from what i've heard, Jones funded the majority of the Obama Deception, you can find it for free on youtube and he openly tells people to make copies of it free of charge.

    Who's comment was shallow?

  • I dont think alex jones is the pinnacle voice of the free republic either, but his crazy ass does a relatively good job for exposing certain things. He acts like a lunatic but he did give us gems like the Obama Deception. Just takes a lot of presence of mind to sift through his antics and obtain information that will not be found elsewhere.

  • dr71956. Why the HELL are you watching Alex Jones stuff if you think he's a complete ass and fascist? Why not just love Obama, pay your extra Health Care taxes, send more troops to Afghanistan and Iraq, pay more money to the banks and get more Police and Military on the streets to defend against all those 'terrorists'? Good to see the most important stuff gets your attention eh? Go watch FOX NEWS and get all your info, sorry - opinions there... then we're all happy eh? Nob.

  • I have conceded that Alex's behavior wasn't admirable & only defended him by saying his actions violated no rights and therefore it is by law defensible. He wasn't in a maniacal rage, this is one of his normal modes of getting attention for his radio program - watch him & learn - it's all a show.

The elbowing is caught on video.

You have resorted to the anti-intellectual tactic of inferring things about my character & showing contempt for me. Is there reason to continue this discussion?

  • Again, you are implying that Alex was involved with the threats but even Malkin say's he wasn't making them and her cohort say's that he wasn't involved at all.

She is at a 'protest' and they attract testosterone - surely she came prepared for it by inviting along her friends, one of them much larger than alex.

The conversation began with a very civil tone, but her friend elbowed Alex and attacked Alex's cameraman.

Malkin didn't want to answer Alex's questions - that's why she left.

  • What I'm meaning is that it's anti-intellectual to cast doubt on someone's ideas because they have a lot of passion and/or a particular demeanor you don't like. They might have quite good and interesting ideas, the two things are unrelated.

As for Malkin, how is her speech being infringed? Alex isn't threatening her, he's stating his opinion (loudly and I'll grant obnoxiously) and she's leaving. She doesn't need to, this is her choice. She could've stayed and intellectually defended herself.

  • yep, what Alex did is called free speech. And I'm happy we have that right. I hope that you are too.

I've listened to Alex for some time, so I'm qualified I think to say this. . .he is a very passionate person. he is very concerned for the country. he does sometimes exaggerate, but that doesn't discount his claims which, if true should be studied and investigated by all of us. His passion and personal demeanor shouldn't be used as an excuse for anti-intellectualism.

  • search: "Michelle Malkin says Alex Jones is Innocent of Threats." Well that one is from the horse's mouth and one of her cohorts admits that the guy who said "kill malkin" wasn't with Alex or his crew. So basically, no assault - at least as the law defines assault, just a healthy dose of moralizing and he made no threats either. Anything else you got?
