  • Great video Tom! Is there a way to anchor states away from you?

For example: If you want to anchor negative emotions (anger, fear, etc.) away from you and to something else?

  • yes what you want to do is anchor the state with a sliding anchor and just turn it down or move it away from you.

Maybe I will make a video of this :)

  • Nice tip...getting someone into state and then anchoring before they go 'outside of themselves' and communicate it to me!

  • I agree. Interesting that you mention the 'pre-verbal'. Catching them before they intellectualize the experience/emotion is important. I think you can touch them just before they start to verbalize...and smile or say 'hmmmm, yes!', 'aaah, wicked!!" Reward them for getting into that state whilst in your company. Set anchors by affirming with touch, gesture or praise.
