  • Can you just take pi x diameter instead of halving the diameter to get the radius then multiplying by 2 and pi?

    Absolutely! If you're given the diameter, there's no need to divide by two to get the radius and then multiply it by two again.

    Just be careful that you know what you have! :-)

    2pi(r) would be multiplying pi by two and then multiplying by the radius (r).
