We live in the West Texas Desert. You know, where it was over 100 degrees for over 60 days this summer. And now this! Snow. For the third time this year. It has ceased to be entertaining, let me tell you.

Wow, crazy! I'm from Dallas, and it was also THAT HOT this summer! I'm surprised it hasn't snowed yet this year, though. We got "snowed" in last year in Feb for 5 days! I hope everyone is keeping warm there, and Humphrey is so cute! Cats warm your laps!

Before this winter is over, could y'all send some snow down here to Copperas Cove? We burned to a crisp this past summer, the foundation on our house cracked and we hit 110 degrees so many times I lost count. There is just no way the summer of 2012 could be as brutal as 2011. How much drier and hotter could it possibly get?

@peterbilt2004 Oh, my, don't EVEN ask! You'll jinx us for sure. We had over 65 days of 100+ degree heat. Everything here burned to a crisp, too, and they're planning to ban outdoor watering this summer if things don't improve drastically. All the trees are dying, and it's not like we have trees to spare here in the desert. Oy.
