Traditional Korean onggi being made just outside of Seoul. The method used here is traditional with hand tools and hot charcoal. The pots cost 500,000 won ($500 US) and are used to store and ferment gochujang (hot pepper paste), soy sauce, and doenjang (soybean paste). This was a great trip out of the city and I ended up buying 6 small pots.
