A southbound BNSF grain train crosses Robinson St in Norman. Apologies for the wind noise and lack of tripod. I hadn't originally planned on getting a train here. I was on my way down to the Lexington Ave crossing when I saw the train coming from the north as I crossed the tracks here at Robinson St. It was coming pretty quickly, so I did a quick U-turn and pulled into a parking by a liquor store and got my camera and hopped out of the car and started rolling the film as fast as I could. I didn't really have time to get in good position for this one. Just goes to show, you gotta be ready for anything when railfanning!
UPDATE December 2010: This crossing has been closed and is undergoing a grade separation. The liquor store and parking lot where this video was taken no longer exist, as the area is now a construction site. Robinson St has been rerouted around the north side of the construction site, and a temporary grade crossing exists there while the new railroad overpass is being constructed at the original crossing site. The grade separation project is expected to be complete by early 2012.

There are bells on the crossing signals, but the locomotive bell was not ringing for some reason.
