It seems the dispute between Argentina and the UK over the Falklands has no ending in sight as Argentine veterans have decided to sue the UK for war crimes during the 1982 armed conflict.

  • wait, im confused. Im not sure when this has ever happened before. "The invading force claims war crimes were commited against them" Is that supposed to be funny?. Is invading another country not a crime anymore? Because if thats true there are some places I would like to have. And if they fight back, I shall sue immediately...

  • Isn't the rape of civillians by Argentine troops illegal?

Isn't the boobytrapping of munitions etc AFTER surrendering also a war crime?

What about "PLANNING AND WAGING AN AGGRESSIVE WAR" ?

Argentina invaded British territory not the other way around.

So when the Argentines have finished their hypocritical bullshit and hysterical attempts to rouse a mob to gain popular support for ANOTHER illegal invasion we can show the facts for what they are ;-)

    HTH Understanding ;-)

  • SO you sue for "War crimes" and we'll sue for reparations for the war. I think our case trumps your case sir. Besides, they buried the mines, they can dig them up.

  • What about the Argentine war crimes? The Argentines surrendered and then shot at the British soldiers as they approached them with weapons down!

  • Am I to understand (given this piece of reporting) that Press TV is to Argentinian television what Brass Eye is to British television and Onion News Network is to US television?

  • Briton gives Argentina £450 million pounds in the recent news

  • Fuckin right aswell there's no way our boys are going to carry live explosives the cheeky bastards . They should of thought about all this before they invaded the place . Give them a £1000 between them get them to sign a letter and tell them to sling their hook . We have more important issues to think about , like how quick can we get the oil reserves that are worth @ £ 8 Trillion out of the ground around the Islands so Blighty can celebrate the Mother of all lottery wins ?, happy days .

  • @darkshredder951 other than oil?

  • LETS LAUNCH TRIDENT AT BUENOS AIRES

THE WORLD WOULD BE SO MUCH CLEANER WITHOUT DIRTY SMELLY ARGENTINA FULL OF CUNTY FUCKS

  • @darkshredder951 also, once upon a time we might have been an empire. but we aren't anymore. the royal family has no power, and the commonwealth is just a collective group of nations that made up the former british empire.

by invading the falklands, you could consider yourselves almost a modern 'empire' of you're own.

why cant every country just be independant. britain doesn't need the falklands, the falklands needs britain. and argentina doesn't need the falklands either.

  • @darkshredder951 argentina and britian are both as bad as eachother. but i still fail to understand why you guys want to invade the falklands (against the will of its people) in a day and age where imperialism is frowned upon by the rest of the world.

    can i ask you something?

other than oil, what impact is the falklands going to have on argentina? us brits dont really care much of the falklands, but we protect it because the people chose to ally with us and they have no army of their own.
