Mr. Harrington explained that his mother made him that feather head band and to never take off. His mother also explained that if the head band gets too small he is in trouble. All of us should wear a virtual head band and if it gets too small we are indeed in trouble. Mister Harrington Fa'afatei! Maholo nui loa! Hartelijk bedankt! Terimah kasi banjak for being a great entertainer and a great teacher. God Bless, Axel & Kathie
We still have the casette by Al Harrinton called Al Harrington South Pacific Man which was made in 1982. My wife and I have seen Al Harrington in person at the former Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles and were very impressed with Al Harrington not only as an entertainer, but especially his values. We remember when he explained about the feather head band he wore at all of his performances.
I worked for Al in the 80's for about 10 years. He is the best employer I have ever had. He has taught me more about business, morals, and love for the Islands than no other. I will always cherish my relationship with him.
A great, great man !
