Malevolent MOD Trailer

This is the trailer for the upcoming MOD "Malevolent" for The ElderScrolls IV: Oblivion.

Malevolent is a dialogue orientated, story-driven quest MOD focusing on a players relationship (be it good or bad -- symbiosis or parasitic) with a sentient, manipulative, malevolent item known as "The Armour", who likes to think of himself as "articulate evil."

Malevolent features more than 3000 lines of dialogue (a large portion of which is voice acted), multiple branching quest paths, and a minimum of 10 hours gameplay.

This trailer demonstrates some of the new locations that will be featured, as well as the new characters, and a few segments of the some of the scripted sequences.

Also shown are some of the visual contrasting techniques used to highlight the context of different locales --grey for what is not real, saturated red for areas of unknown (and subsequent danger), and washed out colours for the various other locations the player travels through which are ultimately irrelevant to the story. These techniques are used to compliment and contrast one another, and to present the overall "mood" of the story at different sections in a unique way.

The Malevolent MODding team consists of:

Simyaz -- Project Leader, Writer (Quests, dialogue, in-game content, etc), Lead programmer, Mapper, Sound Engineer, Secondary 2D Artist, Secondary 3D artist.

Arilita -- Secondary programmer, Lead 2D Artist, Lead 3D Artist.

Persian Paladin -- Voice Actor (it is his voice in the trailer) for several characters.

The music used in the trailer is:

"Exile" from "Myst 3: Exile"
"Ministry of Lost Souls" by "Dreamtheater" (from the Album: Systematic Chaos.)

this mod is pissing me off, its good, but im stuck after u do the first quest for the armor in anvil and then it says i gotta contact him but ..ive tried going into the realm and cant find him to talk to you could specify how to contact.

Firstly,. There's a guide included with the MOD which negates the need to post questions like this.

Secondly, there are more occupants in the Armour's Realm than just the Armour.

All these comments "the music doesn't seem appropriate" only highlight the fact that you expect an epic Lord-of-the-rings-esque score to accompany the trailer. Which is precisely the reason none of my trailers do that. Whatever is expected, I will do the opposite.

This "carbon copy" ideal is a joke. Which is precisely why you won't find other MODs or professional games like mine.

Go to the Imperial City and walk around until you find a Black Horse on a wall about a Military Build Up Outside of Skingard. I may be wrong on the city, its been a while since I played. The quest should start then. One thing, unless you cheat it to start, you need to have beaten the main quest.

This seems really good but I don't know how to start it. I tried reading the guide but it doesn't function correctly. Every time I try to open it, it keeps bringing up a pop up asking to open or save.
