This is the 2nd lesson in the series, "Electromagnetism." It investigates the factors that affect the size and direction of the magnetic field formed around a straight conductor and one bent into a loop. The lesson shows how to draw a diagram to represent the magnetic field around a current carrying loop of wire. It also shows how to apply the right hand rule to determine the direction of the magnetic field and the direction of the current in a conductor.
