  • Thanks for the updates. Would you recommend TDR to others based on your experience?

  • Yes, I would recomend ADR, my other option was being fused.

    I would do it again......

  • I suffering for a two months.. the doctors suggested me: epidural injection (steroids),

swimming, and actualy to make my every day life stuff. (sorry for bad english)

and i refused because i don't believe that it will resolve my "bone on bone" problem.

there is actualy nothing between L4-5. :( so i think that surgery is the solution.

do you need to replace parts in 10 years or something ?

  • Not sure on how long it will last.....

Yes, I tryed everything before I had surgery.

  • do you feel some incoverence when you do that moves ?

  • I move better now due to less pain.

  • Glad you're improved! My Aunt had fusion at two lumbar levels in august of 2007 and it's been one problem after the other. Her fusion has caused complications in her upper lumbar requiring more surgery this summer. It's been tough. Be thankful for your good fortune!

  • Hi, I have DDD on L4-L5 as well and it's been 3 years. I play tennis and played college tennis with it an dit's been awful. I have tries everything, resting for months and months, cortisone shot, core strenghting but nothing worked. From your experience, do you think I could go back to play tennis if I get surgery?

  • Can you explain where and why you have back pain after the surgery? Is the pain between the vertebrae which received the artificial disks?

  • I just want to know how much did you spend on that,I have a herniated disc on L1 an make my life misserable,I refuse the fusion, tks

  • good job!

  • Terrific you look much better and happy. Are you able to resume your regular activities and how long was your recovery?
