In the end not bad enough to deserve a C+ but not good enough to earn a B-

Final Verdict = B--

  • i don't thing that they wanted a huge plot i think they just wanted an hour and a half of jokes and suprises igive it an A+++++++++++++++ so screw off

  • I'd take offense but you're from Ireland and thereby obligated to end every statement with either screw off or fuck off. Thanks for watching!

  • i happen to love caviar

  • Do you also happen to like the Cohens?

  • I am partial to the Cohen brothers, although I really did love "Burn after Reading." I dont know, call me wierd.

  • Not at all. I can see how some people would enjoy it... but that's not going to stop me from saying how I took the movie.

  • THANK YOU! This is exactly how I felt about the movie and it is mind-boggling seeing people saying it is brilliant! I don't need a movie leaving me with nothing, I already get nothing when I don't see a movie and at least then I'll still have my money! I am not amused seeing a league of morons!

  • Dude! The whole point of the movie was the (almost) nonsensensical absurdity of the "league of morons" running to and fro! The CIA scenes are just hilarious, it pains me you just think of them as a "recap". You know of something called "epilogue"?

No climax?? What do you call the grand finale brought to us by Cox, Osbourne Cox? Then again, if I ever did a movie, I would lead to a climax that never arrives.

    - What did we learn Palmer?

    - I don't know, sir.

    - Well I don't fucking know either.

  • i think the movie was pretty good, i don't agree that it's stupid or smth...

  • I don't eat caviar. But I was lucky enough to have a decent high school education.

I'm serious. We did a unit on existentialism and absurd theatre, the philosophical/literary movements that inform the ideas at work in the movies this joker panned.

Why is it cool to dismiss movies you don't understand? My first post was snarky b/c of the reviewer's obnoxious braying. We need more anti-intellectualism in the US like we need another hole in our collective head

  • How much caviar do you have for lunch?

  • Guess you didn't pay much attention in your high school english class. Or maybe you weren't in honors. Or maybe your school's english program sucked. Either way, it's obvious the movie sailed way WAY over your head. "There's no meaning or symbolism" in this movie. LOL. Or in that other overrated film, No Country, right?

Don't review movies you don't understand. It makes you look stupid. Reminds me of getting my papers peer reviewed by some borderline ESL student in college. Just laughable.

  • i've been waiting to watch ur review of this. but i wouldnt watch it without seeing the movie.

and i thought the ending was one of the better chnages of pace. went from below the speed limit to driving the speed limit.

maybe thats just because i thought the CIA guy behind the desk was actually interest and his manner was funny on how benine he was to all of the stupid unknown shit

but this movie was generally depressing. the funny parts were usally because these peoples lifes were so sad.

  • the movie gets ten times better after brad pitt dies. Little mother fucker.

  • Hahaha that movie kicked some butts, it was good entertaining. The end was just perfect LOL

  • I watched this the other day and I quite liked it. I did feel that the movie kind of just stopped, but hey, I'll be a douchebag and say that the scenes with J.K Simmons were reflective of the movie and even almost breaking the fourth wall.

Also, I would say the best thing about that movie was John Malkovich, who must do more comedy movies.
