Thanks for the video! I'm thinking about doing this to my PM9. How much did the NP3 coating and trigger job cost? Did you say turn around was about 2.5 weeks?
Very Nice! It helps to see the NP3 on video as opposed to a picture online. Is this the new NP3 Plus? I could be wrong but I've heard that Ion-Bond is a much harder finish by .5 to 2.5 times than chrome but it doesn't have the lubricity characteristics of the NP3 and it's black only. Thanks for the video, next you'll have to show us video of you shooting that fine weapon.
@remiandkramer This is the NP3, not NP3+ - you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between the coatings by looking at them. The NP3+ gives slightly better wear and corrosion resistance but is the same basic stuff. I haven't heard of ion-bond, I will have to check it out. The corrosion resistance and self lubricity were the major factors in choosing NP3 since it has to deal with sweat and a near salt water environment.
is it just me or does that finish look the same if it would have left the factory

@kowa45 Unfortunately the lighting in the video sucks. I'm probably going to remake these so it shows the finish better.

@jlskip The grand total for the PM9 was $377 and yeah it took a couple days over two weeks for it to be shipped back to me.
