May 12, 2000 - A destructive storm moves across eastern wisconsin leaving in it's path a long swath of hail and wind damage. Forecasters only called for showers that morning, but a supercell deveolped thanks to elevated convection and the jet stream. My reaction to this is simply becasue I had woken up only 15 minutes prior to rolling tape and was not expecting such a fierce storm.
