Yes! I cant believe the public school system these days!!! One of my friends was almost choked to death, and they didnt do a thing about it! They think its "kids being kids", when really, this could be the last day that you ever see them again! Its the teachers, and how they barely do anything about serious stuff is what bothers me!

I can't tell how much I agree. I was dragged through the meat grinder that is the public school system my whole academic career. We've had so many problems with no child left behind, gangs, and I was even physically threatened multiple times in primary school. If I have kids, I'll do anything to make sure they go to private institutions.

I'm guessing that wherever G.W. Bush went to school, his dad put the "no child left behind" act in place. It would've been embarrassing for anyone to find out that a member of the House of Reps. had a son in special Ed. (Especially when his son is nicknamed "dubya").

I hate HS two more excused or unexcused abscences i have to repeat 9th grade and my mom will go jail I mean WTF i have straight a's but i have to repeat ninth grade cause of attendance

robinson elementary (now i go to middle school) is horrible. they never stay home when it snows. the kids have givin me death threats etc. and they made fun of my and my family because i dont do well at sports. and whent they attack me. and i defend myself,i get in trouble! thats not fair! teachers are morons. once i got sent to the princibles office for seeing a fight happen. and they punished me for witnissing it. total bull****

I totally agree. I go to Woodlawn High School in Baton Rouge Louisiana and it's a public school and i find it so fucking retarded that they don't allow sweatshirts with hoods on them.

The Louisiana public school system is probably the most f**ked up in the nation. They've had to lower the standards SO much so everyone can pass. That's why Louisiana also has the most private schools in the whole nation. But most of them are biased in their teachings because they're taught from a christian point of view (like mine). Every school is going to suck in someway. I mean, it's school.
