i just bought a pair... $7 from craigslist!
they sound pretty good, i would say as good as the speakers in an aluminium imac.. very good for there size, your video is awesome!!! "snooty boat tube thing" lololol

I bought these speakers and there was a hideous hissing sound that came out of them at all times. And there's no on/off switch. So either listen to a hiss or unplug them.
Also, there's no volume knob. So if a loud noise comes out of your computer and you don't have quick access to a software-based volume control, you're fucked.
And on top of all that, usb speakers sap more cpu power than audio-jack speakers.
I returned these pieces of shit and got some logitech speakers, which are excellent.
