  • i did this move by move and my lamp light is still flashing on my tv any ideas?

  • Unfortunately these TVs can have other problems besides the lamp. I could better help you if I had some more information, but I will do my best. It could be the ballast. If you here a buzzing sound or repeated clicking noise that's probably the problem. If there was any discoloration in the picture before it went out it wouldn't be a lamp issue. Also, make sure the lamp door and all the panels you remove get put back, otherwise the lamp will not ignite.

  • I fixed it put schotch tape on a metal piece tht looked loose on back, couldn't get the screws to the casing back in gave up, put panel on and it works. Must have been the loose piece of metal in back. Didn't need to put the screws back in. They wouldn't screw in anyways. Yipeee

  • This worked the first time I replaced the bulb, however this time just one top red light is blinking. Not sure what it could be. Shut it off and checked everything, but just one red light is blinking no sound.

    Please help

  • Were you playing the same music?

  • Hey FixYourDLPcom, I have a question. The other night I was watching the tv without any problems, I go to turn it on and it just cycle red and blue lights and ends up with a red light on lamp. I Changed the lamp and its still cycling and I can hear the balast making the buzzing noise trying to turn on every so often. Do you have any solutions, I'm stumped.

  • hey thanks you helped me a lot i didnt realize the back panel had sensors in it and i wasnt putting it on when testing hahah tv works great now thanks again!!!!!!!!!

  • WOW, I just ordered the lamp and housing from from the sponsor of this video. I sure hope all I have to do is pop the old housing out (with the lamp mounted already) and just pop the new one in.

    Great video by the way.
