Not really any faster than a lot of other lights. Some people are more sensitive than others, some will complain about a mirror ball. It doesn't have the kind of horizontal projection as like a derby light, you'd probably need two do get decent coverage, if mounted as shown.

i guess strobe wasnt the correct word. What I meant was does it really move as fast as the videos show (strobe like fast is what i meant i gues) cuz it seems like it moves really fast and would like get people sick or epilepsy lol

No, it's not at all like a colored strobe light. There is some slow strobing built into it's programs that it cycles through, but it is more like a Kinta, but turned on its side, and instead of the spinning action, it sweeps from top to bottom, and changes colors. Sometimes it strobes, but not like strobe like, just a slow strobe.

about the stepper, is it just like, a colored strobe? i saw the videos and just looks like a colored strobe light...

DJ's gerenally don't do stage performances, unless they are like Tiesto. The ADJ Flash beam (which is a good effect) is a very different effect, even if it does look similar. The Chauvet Stepper is the closest Chauvet effect to the ADJ Flash Beam, and is considerably more advanced (for about the same price) than the Flash Beam, you should take a look and compare the feature list of each. There are some lights that ADJ makes better, and some that Chauvet make better :)

Personally, I think the ADJ Flash Beam is a better, more 'sophisticated' effects, especially for stage performances....

American DJ's now got an LED version Derby effect, called the American DJ Tri LED Aggressor, you should check that out as well :) A pair of those would look pretty good. Wish I had more money...hehe.
