I love people like this man. I am from the Philippines and, I should say, that although the Philippines is "democratic", it is in no different situation as Burma is in, and the Philippine economic and political situations are not improving either. The Philippine economy is heavily dependent on human export, the majority of which are domestic helpers and prostitutes.

Hes an activist who's led protests against high commodity prices.
The military regime led by Than Shwe has recently doubled the cost of gas in Myanmar, along with systematic burning of villages to opress any democracy fighters and their families, and has kept Aung San Suu Kyi..a nobel peace prize winner..imprisoned for 17 years.
