This is the second half of the Chamber Singers' performance for the Spring concert. Because I, and my brother who helped put all this together, couldn't get all the songs on to fit the ten minute limitation, this is how it works out. First they are singing "Il Est Bel Et Bon" by Passereau, "Change the World," arranged by Huff, and then "Down at Poco Loco's" by Shaw.
Translation for "Il Est Bel Et Bon":
"He is good and so, so, so, so handsome is my love. Two young women gossiping as women do. One was saying, "Is your husband good to you?" He is never angry, always sweet and kind and he does the housework and he also feeds the chickens. And I take life easy. Oh, I can't keep from laughing when chickens are cackling: kuh, kuh, kuh, kee. For me just coquetting. Do you see?"
Soloists for "Change the World": Sara Matheson & Brittany Portell
Choreographer for "Down at Poco Loco's": Rebekah Schaeffer (also in Chamber Singers)
