On December 4, 2011, the Calgary Hitmen held their 17th annual Teddy Bear Toss for children's charities. This year, the team collected their second-biggest haul ever: 25,303 bears. The Teddy Bear Goal was scored by Carter Brooks at 18:21 of the second period. The Hitmen would unfortunately lose the game 2-1 to the Medicine Hat Tigers.
(Apologies for the poor focus in the first three and a half minutes. My phone refused to focus while I was constantly moving about throwing bears.)
