  • Parenti is right. Bush is a failure to the working class and poor while a success for the rich and superrich.

  • there is a big difference in a citezen and a people as defined in the preamble of the constitution. a people is a soveriegn and the us govt is there to serve the soveriegn. a people in-a-lien-able rights are god given and cannot be taken away ie. first ten amendments. a citizen was created after the civil war in the 14th amendment because of the freed slaves. 14 has two requirements born or naturlized. 2nd to be Subject to all laws of US and you have privledges not Rights and they can be taken.

  • @MopDMTBARTL quoting george Carlin?

  • Bravo, Michael!

  • @ALPHAandOMEGA44 free market just leads to the power being concentrated in the few and the elite. If you're not in the circle then you're worth nothing. Pure unregulated capitalism exists in its true form in third world countries where it absolutely destroys everything. Capitalism and all it's surrounding ideologies are the ones that only work for you if you're fortunate enough. Socialist aspects are essential to most if not all modern democracies and probably help you in some way.

  • George W. Bush performed his function, he basically eliminated taxes for the very wealthy. In every other way his presidency was a disaster for our country!

  • dous anyone know what fora stands for?
