ahh love the D.C.. movie!

well i so just remember the old school Astro Boy. this new updated movie to him looks really good.

right now im freaking out im going to newyork around nov 4th.

I've grown up an Osamu Tezuka fan so...I'll probably go and give this movie a shot, just to revisit childhood.

The animation was great, and so was some of the action. If you are fan of the original Astro Boy, I'd say check it out.

I thought there was also a class thing between the people from the surface and the people in Metro City.

I have to say, as a long time fan of Astro Boy, I was satisfied with how they treated the story. It's Astro's origin story so there weren't a lot of surprises in it for me. But I thought it was cute and cheesy and stayed true to what Astro Boys story is about. I appreciate that.

People had a similar critique of Wall-E, that the message was deliberately shoved down your throat - about conservation and also about health and activity. But they forget that it is a movie geared at kids, even though it is Pixar and Sci-Fi in nature. What's wrong with a positive message? Seriously, why do people set themselves up to be pissed off so often!? Just shut up and enjoy it, it's just a movie! lol ;) A kid movie at that. Besides, anyone remember Recyclosaurus Rex? haha =)

Hey Saythewhiterabbit!

Yes I did mention the Dark Crystal! I both own and love that movie :) I also loved Wall-E and - especially the first 45 minutes. When they were on Earth together and before the humans came in - I thought that was amazingly well done and powerful. Thanks for commenting - those are some great movie pics!
