In observance of April 1st I examine a subject that I've recently given a lot of thought -- the inconsistency between what the Bible says about prayer and the reality of personal miracles. For my primary example I discuss a young girl by the name Gabby. Although my introductory story about Gabby is completely fictitious, aside from the fact she is indeed an amputee, her story is no different than countless other believers of religion who have suffered senseless tragedies for which their prayers continuously go unanswered.

I do not mean to pick on Gabby, and I thought twice before using her images. However, I decided to go ahead with my depiction since she has become somewhat of a public figure -- there are several news stories posted about Gabby on youtube, in addition to her blog, "Gabby's Fund", where I found the photos used in my video. If anyone objects to my use of these images please be informed I am conducting myself under the terms of "Fair Use". Any attempt to take down this video will be adamantly challenged.

  • @Ajaxxism1 In prophecy God had made a promise to Israel.God promised Israel that he would manifest himself to them in signs and wonders, in order that the world might believe that there is a God in Israel, and many Gentiles,(non-Jews) did.Meny were proselytized into Judaism.God did the ultimate,he became one of us,and died on the cross and was resurrected from the dead. Now today we come to God by way of the cross work of Jesus, and that alone for salvation. Not by religion, signs or wonders.

  • @nooobie1 I don't know whether or not God will heal an amputee, all I know is that it isn't God's mandate today that you be healed of anything.God is not focus on your physical well being as much as he is focus on your spiritual well being. Our life here is temporary, but our souls are eternal. The religious people may cry and put money in the offering tray at a Benny Hinn rally, but fell to realize that Jesus was God and only he hand the power to heal, and he demonstrated this to the nation Israel.

  • @nooobie1

    Just another April Fool.

  • @Ajaxxism1

That's not what you said earlier. You claimed the Gospels were not directed at us, but were written to the Nation of Israel. So why I should I bother following the Bible? Yahweh is the Jewish god, not my god.

  • @DiscoveringReligion The lord ultimately died for the sins of the world. He was handed over by the religious, Jewish establishment to Romans, and was crucified on a Roman cross,so both Jew and Gentile stood guilty before God,but the antidote for their crime was to trust Christ in his finished work on the cross for their sins and the sin of the whole world. He was resurrected from the dead on the third day for our justification, unto eternal life, this is the gospel.

  • @Blurtex33 wut

  • AWESOME. God heals amputees, Im gunna stick with going to a non denominational church though (not roman catholic whatever that is). I LOVE JESUS more than ever now.

  • yes it sux that we havent seen healings of some things but many healings of other things have occured, did you seek god himself on this maybe he has ministry for you

on healing amputees you clearly know/believe god has the power to do this or you wouldnt be asking the question WHY not Amputees, jesus gives an answer in the book of luke when he calls us a faithless and perverse generation, after his disciples tried but failed to deliver a man of a demon then he delivers the demon out of that man.
