  • THANK YOU Christian for posting this detailed footage of Father Jerome's Hermitage. For more than 30 years I have been interested in John Hawes as both Architect and Priest, and have been inspired by his design philosophy in my own work. His Hermitage is truly a "Poem in Stone" and I hope to one day experience it for myself.

  • It looks so big from the bottom of the hill but it is actually pretty small. I remember filling the doorway and I was only 12 years old.
