I heard a kid get paddled by him once. I heard the paddle then the kid swore and cried loudly I could hear him 2 rooms away. That scared the heck out of me. Instead of behaving myself because it was the right thing to do, I behaved because I was afraid of getting stomped on by the giant black boot of tyranny. To this thing I think the paddle had a negative effect on me. It stifled my spirit and that's not a good thing.

Wow, that's messed up, but not surprising to hear. It's as if the teachers doing this want to implement as much humiliation as possible into the equation.
