The government is looking for a Master Developer for the 5,000 acre Konza Technology City in Machakos, whose development is estimated will cost 7 billion dollars. The Information ministry has just received the drawings for the project that is one of Vision 2030's flagship projects and is expected to create 200,000 jobs over the 20 years phased development. Permanent secretary Bitange Ndemo says the government will handle the infrastructure while the rest will be handled by the private sector. Expressions of interest are already coming in thick and fast.

  • @narucraze1 its like in the iron man movie. stark city

  • @Msbea345 we have already made 4 of them ready 4 launching on January 2013.

  • If only Kenyans know how people minds are being controlled using satellite etc...they will never support these projects.

  • @narucraze1 Not true..these projects are popping up everywhere...this is funded by the world bank..this my friend is a new world order.

  • @Kenya2012andbeyond dude projects like this wil bring in money and investors which will translate to more money to help the guys in the north.. you cant help others when your hungry yourself.

  • I hope this happens for Kenya's future. considering the extreme level of corruption and what is also the culture of Kenya I have little faith in the government's ability to do anything productive. maybe the private sector can step up and make this happen. good news.

  • Hakuna maji! vumbi tu.....
