Watching the floodwater roaring over the rocks along the river near us reminded me of the "Fate knocking on the door" theme of Beethoven's fifth symphony. Here I am combining the music from the first movement of the Fifth with a variety of natural and human movements I recorded during visits to the overflowing river.
Interestingly, while the water in the river is crashing over the rocks, the canal next to the river is peaceful, so are the heron and the squirrel.
