I am sorry to hear you get the negativity some take too much time to dispense. Anyway, I am glad people can rise above it. Jesus sure did. He had knowledge of birth and passing on. I think he must have known that his self was simply carried by the body he had. Sometimes i wonder if these caregivers ever come back. My understanding is that the lost ones do. To give their purpose another try. I am uncertain. Nonetheless, it is nice to have you in this life time, Cheers ; )

@wlljon7 I think you missed the point I was making. A person who preaches from without, purely for fame and money, jumping on every bandwagon, the latest fashion being the secret and the law of attraction, should not be thought of as someone who speaks from knowledge of self.

Teacher? Where is the D.C.school of thought? There is no insightful Deepak Chopra perspective here, anywhere. He is a bog standard religious educator made famous solely by media hype and jumping on bandwagons.

You and I have one thing in common, we were born into a sinful and fallen world, so we become sinners and that is just the way it is. A friend will always speak truth and that is what I am doing being that I was a learner of New Age teaching. Depak, I used to read all of your books and as great as they would make me feel for a few days I would always go into depression again and didn't understand why your books and other things I did didn't cure me. Well, it was because i was learning about a different Jesus, a Jesus that is not what the Bible teaches. The Bible teaches in the book of Romans that mankind is dead spiritually and in need of a Savior. Surrender to Jesus by calling on His name, I did and He saved me. May this happen 4u.

@satsumamoon Lot of haters on this channel. Listen, Dr. Chopra can quote the Bible and Jung all the time as far as I'm concerned. There is no end to the wisdom contained in both texts. Dr. Chopra is a teacher and I believe his job is to fan the spark of truth we already have in us. If you want to find original thinking, you already have it in that spark, a part of your own unique experience of living. Learn to express it and let someone else complain about your fame and your glory, etc.

When someone asks what HE thinks he quotes Jung and the Bible. Does he ever have any original thoughts? What's the point? perpetuating fame and glory and his own coorporate machinery?

@1spiritualhealer you don't get the point. Can't be shadow without light. There can't be light without shadow. There can't be positive without negative. There can't be negative without negative.

If everybody would have the exact same amount of uglyness would anybody be ugly? If there is nothing to compare there is no label. Think about that.
