This is a split that every right-hander should always try to make as the 9 helps guide a brushed 6 into the 7 as demonstrated.

Note my single-step approach - you don't see my feet, but I stand about five feet shy of the foul line and address the lane, after which I swing the ball and take a half-step and release. Spasticity is present in my legs which means I can't balance well, so I resort to this method of delivering the ball.
