@themailman43 Absolutely agree with you: nothing to do with "Eres tú", wich is infinitely better.

A wonderful song, sang in Slovenian, the meaning is "Without a Word". And I am very sorry, but as you have entered to compare (in my opinion they don't have anything to do each other), even they are two awesome songs and I like both of them, I like this one even more than "Eres tú", which is more repetitive and simpler in chords and melody. "Brez Besed" is musically much more complex, and presents more interesting difficulties when being read the score, included some exotic less usual chords.

Stop it already by comparing these wonderful songs..
Berta sang beautifully (back in 1966) and that's all that matters..
Lepo! Škoda, da se nisem rodil nekaj (10)let prej..

@themailman43 Agreed. I like both songs, but five or six words sounding familiar doesn't make it a total copy. Same thing with Molitva and Ndarja...

Parece mesmo com o Eres tu do mocedades...

Absolutely nothing to do with " Eres tu", the first 4 or 5 words sound similar, but that's it. Two very diffrent songs, and by the way " Eres tu " is better.

Except for the brief opening of this song, I think it's a real stretch to say Eres Tu was a copy.
Mi-Sol-Do-! These three musical tones are the beginning pitches of Brez Besed---and the beginning of the CHORUS section of Eres Tu. What happens AFTER those notes is what separates these two wonderful songs from each other: Brez Based: re-mi-fa-mi-re-la-ti---etc. Eres Tu: re-mi-fa-mi-re-do-mi-fa---etc. You can't claim copytight on a scale pattern, so the fact that both songs walk up and down a short scale for five notes is irrelevent. They are two beautiful songs, but very different.

Forget the Elvis and Mocadedes comparisons and just focus on how well Berta delivers this song. I have seen others do it since on Youtube but she just owns this song. Beautiful
