Tomb Raider 2 Secrets Speedrun - Opera House

Opera House in 7:57 collecting all secrets.

NEW TRICK:
New trick used in this level and from now on. Its called the "Swing Cancel"
On some ledges, Lara 'swings' for a few seconds before pulling up. You can cancel this effect by letting go of action for a split second and pressing it again and pulling up. I used this about 10 times in this level. Found by thekingz. The turn-in corner bug used outside the fan hallways was found by rr_carroll.

There are still a few minor mistakes, the main one being when I tried to run-jump to the upper ledge when entering the high room with swinging bags. So I imagine I could've gotten about 7:50.

how did you drop down to the gold secret?

By doing a grab cancel, meaning if you press action just after dropping below a ledge, Lara will lean forward a bit and that's how I avoid the glass there.

Correction, when I pressed the button there, the camera changes to show you what door opened, and so since I already knew where to go, I pressed the Look button to put the camera back on Lara, thus, not wasting time.

what was blocking the view when you got the jade dragon?

It's just dark there, and there's a spinning fan just in front of the Dragon. So I'd die if I went any further.

TRII was such and atmospheric and imaginative game. Would like to see an up-dated version released like they did with the first Tomb Raider.
