@RaspberrySeason what about them? Both situations are scenarios, and not facts. I never said all guys played sports, or that all women didn't exercise. I used women as an example because they are more prone to this cause of fat gain, because they don't develop muscle as quickly as men, and as I stated in the video: Your BMR is based on your fat to muscle ratio. Women have a muscle deficiency in comparison to guys, based on evolution, so you are used as the example. Don't take offense to it.

you said boys are out playing sports and girls are in playing with barbies... what about the boys that stay home playing computer games and the girls out playing volleyball?

I'm fat because of a couple reasons:
When I was little I ate too much junk food.
I did little exercise as a kid.
I'm losing weight because:
I'm eating better, and I'm working out. BOOM.

@TheOriginalSeVeR Says the individual who apparently thinks 'you're' is spelled 'ur'. Well, you certainly told me.

@gingergiggles no, ur just dumb

I think it has a bit to do with genetics(skinny as a kid/fat as a kid) and the rest is behaviour. I eat say (guessing) 3400 calories a day and I ride dirtbikes(major workout) everyday for about 2-3 hours. I've had a outstanding metabolism since I was a child(born with it) and wouldn't need to excersize to stay stick thin with a normal German diet. But since I do excersize I am very skinny yet quite healthy, hopefully that made sence since i'm buzzed and tend to not make sense wen i'm buzzed

good video...Eat and excersize.
I hate fat people that make excuses about being fat. They starve themselves but don't life a single weight and tell me" See even eating healthy I'm fat"
not a hard concept. Eat healthy and excersize.

In terms of physiology it's true, oftentimes, however, there's a deeper issue. Why do people eat a lot of comfort food and overeat in general? Why do they eat when they're not hungry? Why are there eating disorders? If something is screwy with your psychology and you use food to cope with it, none of that stuff matters. I can forget about "eat less, exercise more" in this scenario. AND statistically speaking, women turn to food for comfort a lot more often than men.

@ XxsingledeathxX fish oil is also good for liver health and clearing up acne
NO it is VERY genetic I barely exercise and eat like a fatty. I'm still DAMN skinny. Fast metabolism. I have friends that exercise and diet consistently and still struggle with their weight. Of course there are people who just blame it on genetics instead of, you know, WORKING to lose weight but some people truly do have bitch genetics.
And women are genetically programmed to store more fat than men, its a baby making thing. Don't be sexist, girls run around and play as children too.

@gingergiggles you didn't watch the video, or you have the comprehension skills of a gold fish.
Women, were an example. Are you dumb enough to know what an example is, or should I explain it?
Also, I said being skinny as a kid helps keep you skinny as an adult. Were you skinny as a kid? Yes? Then shut up. 2:36
Muscle burns fat. Normally women don't lift weights like men. Thus, easier weight gain.

if I were to consume less and just rely on my RMR for a period of time, causing the value of my BMR to go down, would my BMR be permanently damaged or could I gain it's value back by eating healthier & becoming more active?

@bates713 Your BMR can definitely fluctuate any direction you intentionally push it in, but it takes about 6 weeks of eating "too little" or "too much" for your BMR to fluctuate up or down. As long as you aren't 25+, the chances of you controlling your BMR are better. Why you'd insist on doing such a thing is weird to me, though.

this is a tad misogynistic...
insidexistance 1 month ago
@insidexistance don't blame me. Blame evolution. I didn't make "curvy women" or "women who lack larger muscles" attractive/desirable. And I didn't make guys with "larger muscles" attractive/desirable. But it just so happens that a higher muscle percentage helps burn fat, so the metabolism on men is faster. It's only "misogynistic" if you can't handle the truth, and I'll sound like a sexist before I sound like a liar any day.
