Amazing shooting work, interiors, angles, parting shot, all right on! The color is amazingly rich and shade-toned for the technicolor of it's time. Some additional factors must be involved, anyone know what they were?

No Maltese Falcon, but very watchable. I don't thnk actors walk off into the sunrise any more, but it's a good idea to clinch a happy ending. Lisper-zeth Scott with her slit-mouth, short nose, and long upper lip (nice eyes and hair though), I never regarded as much of a beauty especially in b/w even in my impressionable youth, but it appears that many did and still do,

good film even if the plot was simple and storyline somewhat predictable. The Actors & Actress were beyond doubt though a truely great era in film.
